Planet of the Apes

Over the past couple of weeks I have watched the old Planet of the Apes movies that first came out in 1968. The fifth and final chapter came out in 1973. I tell ya...it was good times. Don't kid yourself! I hardly remember anything from the last four but did remember the first movie. Not sure why that was. Those oldies are always good for a chuckle and well worth a second look.  Now maybe I should watch the 2001 version

I am not powerful. This song is powerful. I am not strong. This song has strength. I am sad. I find this song tragic.

Movie Time

Watched this movie last night here at home.  Was fairly entertaining.  Reminded me of The Expendables a bit but this one had more of a story to it and I enjoyed the little humor throughout.  I would say this is one to watch. *s*

Great start for the Seahawks

Game 1 had the Seahawks taking care of business.  Beating San Fransico 31-6.  I thought the defense played an amazing game.  Love the excitement the new coach brings to the team also.  Considering we only won 5 games last year we are off to a great start!!!  Keep it up SEAHAWKS!

Even Sea Lions Gotta Do It!!!

Movie Night

Just finished watching Prince of Persia and Clash of the Titans.  Both were pretty good but I give the edge to Prince of Persia.  I think most would agree.  One interesting note.  Both main "woman" characters in these movies were played by the same person --> Gemma Christina Arterton

PS: Loved all the monsters in Clash. :-P

The Expendables

This movie is not...I repeat...NOT a chick flick.  This is 100% pure guy film!!!  I enjoyed it thoroughly. heh heh  I especially loved the sound of the big gun. :-P  If you want to see all the explosions on the big screen than go to the theatre.  I didn't feel I missed out on anything watching it on the TV but that may be just me.  If you've caught yourself watching too many soft movies lately.  Check out The Expendables.  Good for some great action, see some old actors and laugh a bit.
